Thrissur Management Association (TMA) was honored with the Best Local Management Award for the 2022-23 season in Category 3 at The AIMA 50th National Management Convention, hosted at Taj Palace in New Delhi. This coveted award marked the association’s third win in the same category.
K. Paul Thomas, Immediate Past President, graciously accepted the recognition along with CA Manojkumar, Immediate Past Secretary, and CA Geo Job, President of TMA.
S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, presented the award in the august presence of Shrinivas V. Dempo, AIMA President, Nikhil Sawhney, Senior Vice President, and P. Balaji, Chief Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Officer at Vodafone.
Each year, the All-India Management Association (AIMA) evaluates the performance of local management associations (LMAs) based on a comprehensive set of criteria, broadly categorized into ‘building professional capability’ and ‘execution excellence.’
K. Paul Thomas, Immediate Past President, was ecstatic about the win and expressed profound gratitude for the recognition. “The award underscores the relentless dedication and exceptional execution displayed by the Thrissur Management Association during the given period,” he added. He also highlighted the association’s significant contributions, including numerous social interventions undertaken by TMA during his tenure.
CA Geo Job, President of TMA, also expressed his gratitude and said “ the way forward is pretty clear for us and it comes with lot of responsibilities. We will try our best to remain equal to the task.”
