The falls cascade down from a height of about 300 meters (around 984 feet) and are surrounded by dense forests and rocky terrain. The name “Meenmutty” means “Fish Eye” in the local language, and it is believed to be named so because of the shape of the falls resembling the eye of a fish. To reach Meenmutty Waterfalls, visitors usually need to embark on a trek through the forest. The trek is approximately 2 kilometers long and involves a relatively challenging hike, which includes navigating rocky paths and steep terrain. However, the effort is rewarded with stunning views and the mesmerizing sight of the waterfall.
