Manjeswaram is a picturesque town that boasts a rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and natural beauty. Situated on the Arabian Sea coast, this small but vibrant town has a unique identity shaped by its history of cultural amalgamation and its stunning coastal landscapes.

A number of temples and fifteen mosques make the cashew-growing town of Manjeswaram a prominent pilgrim centre. There are two old Jain Bastis at Bengara Manjeswar on the southern bank of the Manjeswar River.

About 11 km from Kumbla on the Kumbla-Badiadka road is the Mother Dolorus Church of Bela. The 100-year-old Roman Catholic church is built in the Gothic style. The Our Lady of Sorrows Church constructed in 1890 is the oldest in the district.

Manjeswaram, with its rich history, cultural diversity, and natural beauty, stands as a testament to the power of harmony and coexistence. It serves as a reminder that when people from different backgrounds come together, they can create a vibrant and welcoming community. Whether you are drawn by its cultural festivities, pristine beaches, or historical landmarks, Manjeswaram has something to offer every traveler seeking an authentic and enriching experience.
