When the chief guest , famous music director Ouseppachan, known for his soul-stirring compositions, sang for the 100 plus patients who had triumphed over Parkinson’s disease the auditorium resonated with gratitude and joy, echoing the successful stories of those who had found solace through DBS Therapy. It was the grand celebration of the 100 successful Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgeries by Parkinson & Movement Disorders Centre at Aster Medcity, Kochi in just two years.
