Sri Edneer Mutt is located around 12 km east of Kasaragod in Kerala. Sri Edneer Mutt belongs to the parampara of Sri Totakacharya, one of the first four disciples of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and follows Smartha Bhagavatha tradition of Advaita Pantha.

Sri Edneer mutt is lies by the side of Madhu Vahini River.

As per history, the Mutt was established in Kolla Varsham 700 by Embranthiri Swamiyar who was the Swami of Thrissur Vadakke Madom.

The presiding deities of the mutt are Dakshinamurthy and Sri Gopala Krishna.

Edneer Sri Vishnu Mangala temple and Kana Sri Sastha temple at Edneer, Sri Mahishasura Mardini temple at Ajjavara, Sri Kadumane Vanadurga Temple, Sri Krishna Temple at Bagalore are managed by Sri Edneer mutt.
