Aster PMF Hospital announced the inauguration of its renovated cutting-edge 19-bedded multidisciplinary Intensive Care Unit (MDICU), advancing healthcare services in the region. The ceremony was inaugurated by Kovoor Kunjumon MLA, Kunnathur Constituency.
The MDICU complex has a modern infrastructure with 14 dedicated MDICU beds equipped with 5 bedside dialysis ports, catering to the critical needs of patients. The facility is furnished with essential medical equipment, including 12 mechanical ventilators, 5 Bipap machines, and 4 High-Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO) units. Additionally, a 5-bedded High Dependency Unit (HDU) complements the MDICU, providing specialized care as needed.
Every bed within the MDICU complex is furnished with multiparameter monitors, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, bedside ultrasound machines, warmers, and DVT pumps.
