Often mentioned together Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, are located in close proximity on the Cochin-Munnar highway with dense growth of trees all around. The beautiful Cheeyappara waterfall cascades down in seven steps and meet the Valara Waterfalls in the most amazing manner to create a glorious sight. A lot of tourists prefer visiting this place on their way back from Munnar as it lies on the main highway and can be spotted very easily between the lush green trees spread everywhere. It is a chain of waterfalls in the Deviyar River that originates from the Western Ghats.
The Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are located between Neriamangalam and Adimali around 10 km on the Kochi-Munnar highway and is a great place for trekking and jungle exploration. Valara is surrounded by a chain of waterfalls and thick green forests and offer a breathtaking view of the stunning waterfall and splendid forests.
