Payamkuttimala: Vadakara’s Ooty

Payamkuttimala located in Kerala’s Kozhikode district locally called as Vadakara’s Ooty. Payamkuttimala hill provides a sweeping view of Vadakara and its surrounds. Many tourists visit this location to enjoy the Arabian Sea and the sunset. In addition to a Muthappan Madapura and dead laterite rocks, this little mound also has. Either the Vadakara-Thiruvallur road or the Lokanar Kavu temple route can be used to go to the desired location. There are walking hilly terrains to get to the goal for those interested in trekking. The location is distinctive because it provides a clear view of the sun rising and setting. The mountainous location also enables tourists to get a glimpse of the valley’s other locations, such as Velliyangallu and Vadakara town. Rest rooms and toilet facilities are arranged at the centre by the Thodannur Block panchayat.
